PAX East -online 2021 weekend bringing all the indie action.

 

Hello fellow geeks,

As  you may or may not know this weekend has seen the second all virtual PAX , the premium video and board game expo open to the public. With PAX West set to be a limited in person event again I am not sure if this is the last one or if some way there now always will be a virtual pass available for those who cannot make it into these events. Whatever may be the case the PAX team has worked hard on bringing fans closer to the creators of videogames and board games even though we were prevented to get together and celebrate out hobbies. There were live streams, Panels, Online indie showcase and of course Merch to your hearts content.

We were able to join in for a bit and have a bunch of content to process through and tell you about in the next week. Due to this thing called life there is some limitation in what we were able to get accomplished but we hope you will be able to enjoy what we were able to bring home. We were able to interview a few wonderful developers about their new game releases, played great demo's and hang out (virtually) with some wonderful folks and content creators with great stories to tell.

All this might be an oddball experience for anyone who has ever set foot on one of the busy convention floors, but to share time with likeminded individuals , even through a screen reminds is food for the soul.

I mentioned it before but I do hope that virtual access will be a thing from now on for those that do not have the means to travel, disabilities, anxiety, and more. It will allow for more inclusivity and isn't that a nice thought?
