Going Retro in a blaze of glory and chrome

PARIS - Nov. 14, 2018 - Publisher The Arcade Crew and developer Joymasher  announced the release of their upcoming retro shooter Blazing Chrome for  Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and PC when it launches in early 2019. 

This retro-inspired co-op platform shooter is a throwback to the golden days of side-scrolling shooters  ( Hello Contra). Taking detailed 16 bit pixel based graphics and a chiptune shredding metal soundtrack, the game also brings modern touches while ensuring the gameplay feels still authentic to its inspiration. Playing as Mavra, a lone human resistance fighter, or the rebellious robotic insurgent Doyle, players will venture through six various stages filled with deadly, bullet-spewing foes with murderous intent in stopping you.

The latest gameplay video released today shows off some of the challenging environments awaiting the protagonists. Players will need a steady aim as they plow through a warzone, utilizing tide-changing power-ups, powerful exosuits, and an arsenal of futuristic weaponry to stay alive on the battlefield.
