Dotemu Reveals Physical Editions for MARVEL Cosmic Invasion, Pre Orders Now Live

Dotemu and Tribute Games,   , yes the guys that brought you TNMT shredders revenge, have announced that MARVEL Cosmic Invasion, the upcoming arcade inspired tag team beat ‘em up set across iconic MARVEL locales, is getting both Standard and Deluxe physical editions. The physical versions will launch on March 13, 2026 for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5 and Xbox platforms. If you just want to play you do not have to wait that long as The digital edition of the game arrives first on December 1, 2025. And yes will be on gamepass day one. 

Pre orders for all physical formats are now live at participating retailers worldwide outside of Asia.

The Deluxe Edition is packed with collectibles for fans of classic MARVEL artistry. It includes a physical copy of the game in a special box, a premium SteelBook case featuring a hand drawn illustration of the roster and the villain Annihilus, a large poster showcasing the cast, fifteen character themed art cards with holographic effects and a set of stickers featuring every playable hero.

About the Game

MARVEL Cosmic Invasion sends players into a galaxy wide conflict as Annihilus unleashes the Annihilation Wave with help from familiar villains such as Thanos, M.O.D.O.K and Taskmaster. Heroes from Earth and beyond unite to stop the assault, with a 15 character roster that includes Captain America, She Hulk, Rocket Raccoon, Wolverine, Spider Man, Storm, Phyla Vell, Venom, Nova, Black Panther, Beta Ray Bill, Cosmic Ghost Rider, Silver Surfer, Phoenix and Invincible Iron Man.

Players form a two hero team and can switch between characters mid fight using the Cosmic Swap system, allowing creative combos and unique team builds. The brawler features a mix of New York City streets, cosmic battlefields and the depths of the Negative Zone. It supports four player drop in and drop out local and online co op with crossplay, along with a variety of accessibility features designed to make the experience welcoming for all ages.

Dotemu and Tribute Games previously revitalized the beat ‘em up genre with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge. With MARVEL Cosmic Invasion, the studios aim to deliver another modern take on arcade action while honoring decades of classic MARVEL style and storytelling.
