Steel City Interactive Celebrates the Launch of Undisputed on Steam Early Access

Today, Steel City Interactive (SCI) proudly announces the launch of Undisputed, the first major boxing title in a decade, now available for PC via Steam Early Access with plans for releases on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S in the near future.

Undisputed boasts a roster of over 50 playable characters, including legends like Muhammad Ali, Tyson Fury, Canelo Alvarez, and Deontay Wilder, as well as a fully-fledged women’s division and rising stars like Katie Taylor. Players can compete across six unique fight locations, including a large arena and Coldwell’s gym. Whether it’s in local and online multiplayer matches, against the AI, or in the challenging Prize Fight Mode, players have the chance to become the champion of the ring.

SCI has plans to add even more features and content to Undisputed in the coming months, including Career Mode, Fighter Creation tools, licensed boxers, and real-world match venues. With bug fixes and quality of life improvements also in the works, the team at SCI is eager to keep the community updated on these exciting developments.

For a true-to-life experience, Steel City Interactive is partnering with all the heavyweight brands in boxing, including the World Boxing Council, the British Boxing Board of Control, and Empire, among others.

Undisputed offers revolutionary footwork mechanics, including the Loose Movement modifier, allowing for smooth and effortless movement around the ring. With more than 60 individual punches and the ability to punch from multiple angles and directions, as well as feint to set up traps and counters, players have all the tools they need to defeat their opponents. Defend against your opponents with a strong defense, including the ability to slip, weave, dodge, and block punches before finding the perfect opening to strike. The physics-driven interactions ensure that no two fights are the same, with punches sometimes going around or even through an opponent’s guard.
